DAYLIFF TuriTap is an on-line proportional dosage chlorinator driven by water flow that needs no external power source. Designed in partnership with the University of California, Berkeley, it is ideal for sanitizing water for consumption at the points of delivery from various raw water supplies including boreholes, tanks and open water sources. Units are installed on-line and dosage is regulated 3 by flow through a venturi providing consistent chlorine dosage at flow rates between 0.4 to 3.6m /hr. The units incorporate a heavy duty corrosion free housing with lockable cover that contains a 2L liquid chlorine reservoir and a metering chamber with adjustable output needle valve that feeds the venturi. Liquid chlorine at 1.5% concentration should be used to ensure blockage free operation 3 and treated water flow is up to 24m , depending on flow rate, between chlorine concentrate reservoir replenishments.
DAYLIFF TuriTap is an ideal solution for ensuring sanitized water for public water facilities such as water dispenser ATMs, water vendor kiosks, community-based water points, health facility water points etc. They are simple to operate, easy to maintain and robust in design and give assured performance in the most arduous conditions.
