D&S 75 Year #ImprovingLives Competition Awards

Eugene Omoke winner of the 75th anniversary competition being awarded by Managing Director Edward Davis, and General Manager David Bolo

As part of D&S's recent 75th Anniversary celebrations, a competition was launched on the company's social media platforms to find the best stories from customers of how D&S has improved their lives. The overall winner was Eugene Omoke from Kitale whose story revolved around how the Dayliff Sunflo pump had improved their farming business and turned it into a sustainable source of income. He is pictured receiving his prize from D&S Kenya MD Edward Davis and GM Industrial Area David Bolo.

Eugene has an amazing story that you can accomplish much with just a dream. Eugene started horticulture farming shortly after college, thanks to sage advice from his mum. After visiting Davis & Shirtliff’s Kitale branch, he bought a Dayliff DC 50P, Hosepipes, sprinklers, and other irrigation accessories. As his farming venture grew, Eugene has added a drainage pump that has helped him scale up his venture. Eugene has created a livelihood using Dayliff products. We look forward to seeing Eugene take his farming venture to a new level.

The Runners Up were Kenneth MutungaLucy Muriuki, Milka Wanjiru, and Maureen Mutuma who were awarded 10,000 each. Click here to view the winning posts.
