This comprehensive firefighting unit, assembled to meet rigorous EN 12845 standards, represents a significant advancement in firefighting solutions. Featuring a range of quality components by Dayliff, the unit provides a powerful and reliable firefighting water supply system, crucial for safeguarding lives and property in Rwanda and the surrounding regions.
The Mtama Residential Villa was experiencing high electricity bills and sought a more sustainable and cost-effective energy solution. The client wanted to reduce their dependence on the national power grid and cut down on electricity costs. They were also looking for an optional energy storage system to ensure power availability during the night and in the event of power cuts.

Water is an essential resource for the smooth functioning of any hospital, given its critical role in hygiene, patient care, and facility management. A hospital client faced a significant challenge in meeting its daily water demand of 30,000-35,000 litres. The available borehole water supply was abundant, but it did not meet potable water standards for general use or drinking purposes. The hospital required a water purification plant capable of treating the borehole water to ensure it was safe, clean, and in compliance with potable water standards for consumption and general usage.

Davis & Shirtliff, a leading supplier of water and energy solutions, has successfully deployed a state-of-the-art prepaid water metering solution for a newly constructed apartment block in Mombasa. The installation, which features Dayliff STS standard prepaid water meters integrated with a sophisticated web-based vending platform, aims to streamline water management for the building’s 88 apartments. The project addresses the unique challenges of utility submetering in a residential setting, providing an efficient and reliable water service for both property owners and tenants.

Davis & Shirtliff (D&S) is proud to collaborate with GridX Africa in the design, development, financing, and construction of a state-of-the-art 55kWp solar PV roof-mounted system. This innovative system is set to generate 84,000kWh of renewable energy annually, operating under a 10-year lease agreement.
