The Mtama Residential Villa was experiencing high electricity bills and sought a more sustainable and cost-effective energy solution. The client wanted to reduce their dependence on the national power grid and cut down on electricity costs. They were also looking for an optional energy storage system to ensure power availability during the night and in the event of power cuts.
Solution:
Davis & Shirtliff, a leading supplier of water and energy solutions, provided a tailored solar energy solution to meet the villa's needs. The system implemented was the Huawei Power S Hybrid, which included a 10KW inverter coupled with a 20KWH battery storage unit. This setup allows the villa to store solar energy generated during the day for use at night or during power outages, ensuring continuous power supply.
Additionally, the system was equipped with 544 Dayliff Monocrystalline solar modules, which were mounted on the Dayliff Galvanized Tin Roof structure. The monocrystalline modules were chosen for their high efficiency, making the most of the available sunlight to generate clean, renewable energy. This installation ensures long-term energy savings, reduced environmental impact, and greater energy independence for the villa.
With this hybrid solar solution, the Mtama Residential Villa now enjoys reliable power, reduced energy costs, and enhanced sustainability.
