PUMP
The Dayliff DCS range of self priming solar pumps are of fully portable design suitable for irrigation, dewatering and general pumping duties. Models feature open impeller suitable for pumping lightly silted water and are supplied with 2m waterproof power cable, MC4 connectors, float sensors, quick coupling hose connectors and suction strainers. Material of construction are cast aluminium for the pump body, cast iron for the impeller and the unit is mounted on a sturdy carrying frame.
MOTOR
The pumps are coupled to high efficiency permanent magnet brushless motors suitable for continuous duty. The DCS 1500 features an AC/DC powered motor. For optimal performance it is recommended to size the PV solar module array with a nominal output about 50% greater than the specified motor size and ensure that the input voltage is between the specified limits.
PUMP CONTROLLER
DCS 750 feature an inbuilt controller that provides thermal protection, over/under voltage, over current, over temperature, reverse polarity and dry run protection. DCS 1500 includes an intelligent MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) controller providing advanced pump functionality with seamless power source management. Key features include.
- Fully automatic operation and complete protection including low and high voltage, over current, over temperature, reverse polarity and dry run.
- Intelligent power source selection either DC solar, AC mains, or Auto mode, prioritizing DC solar power for optimal energy efficiency and automatic switching to AC mains when the DC solar power is insufficient or unavailable ensuring continuous operation.
- LED Display providing real-time data on voltage, current, power, rotational speed and error codes for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Soft start operation to enhance the longevity of the motor and pump.
