#ImprovingLives

Giving back to local communities has been a commitment of Davis & Shirtliff since its founding in 1946...

Ereteti Primary School faced acute water shortages as both of its boreholes were non-operational due to breakages, causing significant suffering for 800 beneficiaries, mostly students from needy households.

In collaboration with The Rotary, The Improving Lives initiative intervened by rehabilitating the 7.5kW borehole pumping system.

This project ensures a sustainable solution for the school's water needs. The repaired boreholes will not only benefit the students but also the community through the sale of water, the establishment of a food garden, and providing water for livestock and water bowser services. This intervention aligns with D&S's commitment to improving lives and fostering community resilience.
