Years from now, as the effects of the coronavirus fade into history, and future generations look back on the pandemic of 2020, masks will surely be one of the key symbols of this era.

In a slight deviation from the usual CSR projects undertaken by Davis and Shirtliff, a partnership was struck with Giesse Logistica in early May 2020 to distribute 1000 masks to needy children. The Italian firm, having been touched by the plight of orphans during these unique and tough times, offered to partner with D&S CSR to distribute masks to several children around Kenya. The masks were received by 4 Children’s Homes in Kajiado, Nakuru and Machakos counties. The children and their caregivers were quite grateful to D&S and Giesse Logistica, for providing them with both safe drinking water and quality re-usable face masks.
