Dayliff PWUF Ultra Filtration water treatment units are specially designed to provide high quality potable drinking water for domestic and small scale demands. The process uses a three finger hydrophilic PVDF hollow fiber ultra filtration membrane which effectively and reliably removes small size suspended solids and colloidal pores including macromolecular pollutants, pathogens, bacteria viruses and microorganisms as small as 0.01 micron in raw water from boreholes, dams and municipal water sources. It does not remove dissolved salts like salinity, fluoride, iron etc. The membrane is contained in a 304 stainless steel housing and can be removed for hand washing by opening the end cap. The membrane operates on a full flow output and accumulated impurities are removed by periodic flushing or backwashing determined by input water quality. Multiple modules can be installed in parallel for higher flow outputs. Systems are frame mounted and supplied as complete units with all necessary accessories and controls.

- Depending on specification either fully automated plant operation using solenoid valve control or manual operation using ball valves to effect filtration and backwash processes.
- High efficiency Dayliff pump for water feed, flushing and backwash operation fitted with a Superpress P Controller for pump protection and operation.
- An in-line 120 Micron prefilter to remove larger particles.
- Integrated Flushing and Backwash tank fed from the treated water supply.
- System monitoring instruments including product flow meter and pressure gauges. Dayliff PWUF provides a reliable, simple to operate, maintenance friendly and cost effective solution for assured highest quality drinking water requirements.
