DAYLIFF FLM Fire Sets are free release packaged fire pumping solutions specially designed to provide automatic water supply to multiple hose reel or sprinkler outlets for firefighting installations. These units integrate electrically driven main pumps and a jockey pump that continuously maintains system pressure, ensuring immediate response in the event of fire. Designed for serviceability these fire sets with electric prime movers are ideal for facilities with stable backup power with installations connected directly to dedicated distribution boards that ensure uninterrupted power supply.
Particular features include:-
- Individual electric motor powered pump sets providing water supply through cascade operation.
- Separate automatic jockey pump to maintain system pressure and regulate main pump operation.
- Bellows type pressure switch controlled operation providing progressive jockey pump and the main electric pumps starting at reducing cut-in pressures.
- Low maintenance diaphragm type pressure vessel to regulate the jockey pump cycling.
- Integral control panel providing automatic cascade operation of the supply pumps and incorporating electrical protection panels.
- Compact frame mounted design incorporating necessary valves and piping for simple site installation.
Systems are designed to give rated output of either about 5bar or 10bar and capacities up to 360m /hr with the pump sets operating in parallel.

SPECIFICATIONS
Supply Pumps: Dayliff DE end suction bareshaft centrifugal pumps featuring gland packing seal and heavy duty cast iron construction. DEB pumps have bronze impellers and are selected to meet the design pressure and flow rates. Detailed performance curves are available on request.
Electric Motors: TEFC squirrel cage IE3 2900rpm electric motors suitably rated for the pump load or close coupled motor.
Jockey Pump: Horizontal or vertical multistage centrifugal pump fitted with electric motor. The pump is set to maintain system pressure thus avoiding cycling of the service pumps due to minor system leakages.
Pressure Vessel: Diaphragm type pressure vessel featuring polypropylene liner with special diaphragm and air valve design that eliminates leaks and the need for maintenance.
Piping: Suitably sized piping and fittings are provided for direct suction and delivery line connections including necessary isolating gate valves and non-return valves on the system outlet.
Control Panel: Independent panels for two electric fire pumps and the jockey pump. Main pumps feature star-delta starters with comprehensive motor protection, while the jockey pump automatically maintains system pressure.
