The Dayliff DWG Grinder pumps are of exceptionally robust, heavy duty construction specially designed for shredding solids and fibres found in wastewater and sewage. This enables the pumped liquid to pass through small diameter pipes without blockage in domestic, agricultural, industrial and building site applications. Pump construction is heavy-duty cast iron pump body and motor casing and Chrome alloy grinder impeller with mechanical seal in oil chamber and NBR oil seal. DWG 30M is designed for free standing installation and is fitted with a level switch for low level control while larger models are designed for fixed installation with discharge connection suitable for guide rail mounting. All pumps are supplied with 8m of H07RNF cable.
MOTOR
Pumps are supplied with 2-pole synchronous motors designed for continuous duty. Single phase motors have integral thermal protection and can be connected directly to the mains power through a 10A fuse or MCB. Three phase motors require a remote DOL starter.
