DAYLIFF DDM submersible multistage centrifugal pumps are designed for pumping clean, non-aggressive water in various domestic and light duty applications. They are particularly suitable for wells, water transfer from tanks and pressure boosting applications. Pump feature a built-in buffer tank jacketed motor arrangement which provides excellent cooling and allows the pump to work semi-submerged, double mechanical seals in an intermediate oil chamber for greater pump reliability. Pump construction is reinforced plastic for top cover and base, impellers and diffusers, stainless steel pump casing and discharge port with copper inserts threads. All pumps are supplied complete with 10m cable. Features include
- Automatic pump starts on pressure (settable at less than 0.8bar below max. Pressure) and stopping on low flow
- Protection against dry run with auto restart.
- Protection against cycling. Fitting a 5 litre pressure tank on the delivery line is recommended to reduce cycle times.
- Protection against seizing. The controller automatically runs the pump for 2min after 24hrs of pump inactivity.
DDM750S Incorporate a floating suction pipe arrangement that can either be connected for dry installations or as a submersible pump with an extended floating hose to provide for surface water suction. Pumps are supplied with a 1m, 90mm hose, stainless steel suction filter and float.
MOTOR
Pumps are coupled to water cooled, non-overloading induction motor designed for continuous operations incorporating a thermal protector in the windings to protect against overloading. Pumps can be connected directly to the mains power supply through a 10A fuse or MCB.
