D&S Zambia has recently been celebrating the 20th Anniversary of its inception in Lusaka by founding Managing Director Jonathan Mainga and Group Chairman Alec Davis. Originally an Engineer working at D&S Head Office, Jonathan landed in Lusaka in 2001 with little more than a suitcase and an idea but quickly and effectively set about creating the market-leading organization that D&S Zambia is today.
With his characteristic charm and quiet determination, Jonathan is one of D&S's great leaders who inspire others to develop their businesses as he has. D&S Zambia now employs over ninety staff stationed throughout a network of eight branches countrywide and over the years has successfully executed several large projects of National importance. Due to the current restrictions, celebrations were largely digital but nevertheless appropriately marked the efforts of the D&S Zambia staff complement in achieving what they have. Going forward, the current exciting project involves the ongoing construction of the Luanshya Road Distribution Center which is expected to transform the operations of the business and move it to the next level.
