The Davis & Shirtliff Group, founded in 1946, is the region’s leading supplier of water and energy solutions. The Group is seeking to recruit a Technician for our Subsidiary in Juba, South Sudan. The successful candidate will report to the Country Manager - Juba and must have demonstratable hands-on capability in technical products field support. He/She will be required to primarily handle the following responsibilities:
- Carry out installations, provide technical support and conduct training for customers in the field and in workshops for the company’s products and applications.
- Conduct site surveys, collect user requirements, and refer sales leads to Sales teams.
- Track and document installed systems incidents & outages and initiate root cause analysis in liaison with Service Engineer.
- Test performance and service company’s electromechanical products as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Holder of Diploma/HND with Credit in Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Technically skilled in installation and maintenance of Electromechanical products such as Pumps, Drives, Instrumentation, Controls and Automation.
- Technically skilled in installation and maintenance of RO Plants and Solar systems.
Critical Competencies:
- Good understanding of Electrical and Mechanical Control systems. Digital Electronics.
- Fast learner with demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and analytical capability.
- Strong communication and cross-group collaboration skills.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
