The LOVOL range of industrial diesel engines are of water cooled, in-line, 4 stroke, direct injection, dry cylinder liner design. They are designed for a wide range of prime mover applications, particularly for powering water pumps and generators.
Based on Perkins technology, the efficient combustion system provides low fuel consumption, emissions and noise under varying conditions of load. Standard specification includes integral frame mounted radiator, cyclone type engine mounted air cleaner and 12V starter motor and charging alternator. Also included is an instrument panel which monitors engine speed, coolant temperature, oil pressure with relevant warnings for non-compliant conditions.
Two models of the basic engine are offered, naturally aspirated and turbo charged with the latter providing higher power outputs. Engines are specified for variable speed and can be operated between 1500 and 2200rpm.
LOVOL engines are of simple and robust design designed for continuous operation in all conditions and will provide efficient and reliable service in all prime mover applications.

DERATING: Given outputs are sea level ratings. Sets should be derated at 1% for every 100m higher than 100m above sea level, and 2% for every 5°C temperature above 20°C
