Corporate Social Responsibility

Davis & Shirtliff is now a well-respected, substantial regional organisation and we recognise that we have a responsibility to play a significant part in contributing to the less fortunate in society. Also, the products sold appropriately lend themselves towards the goal of improving people’s lives. With these two in mind, we have made CSR an integral part of the business culture and continue to play a bigger, making a more significant contribution in CSR in the region.

D&S has been involved in CSR activities for many years and many successful projects have been completed, benefiting thousands across the region. With a view towards making a bigger contribution & impact, the financing model and management of CSR activities have been changed and enhanced in the recent past with clearly defined roles and responsibilities. With the new structure it is expected that many more projects will be carried out across the region. In 2018 64 projects were completed benefiting close to 50,000 people and the plan in 2019 is to double these numbers.
